Cervical Cancer Support Groups and Organisations

Support Groups

Gynae C

The group was set up in October 1995 by Helen Jackson, as at that time, and still now, there was a gaping hole in support for women with any form of gynaecological cancer. Initially was going to be confined to the local area, but the need was so great that it soon snow-balled into becoming a national help line for gynaecological related cancers.

Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust

Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK's only cervical cancer charity dedicated to women, their families and friends affected by cervical abnormalities and cervical cancer. Their website offers information which is written or reviewed by medical professionals about cervical screening, cervical abnormalities, treatments and cancer. They also have a freephone helpline (tel: 0808 802 8000) which is manned by volunteers who have had personal experience of cervical cancer or cervical abnormalities.
